Opia; 2006 başında henüz proje iken, 2006 yılının
son çeğreğinde soyut olmaktan sıyrılıp hayat buldu.
Birçok demo kaydı, festival ve konserin ardından,
bazı nedenlerden ötürü 2008 sonunda dağıldı.
Eski kadrodan Ahmet, Uğur ve Gökhan yeni bir proje
için bir araya geldi. Akabinde "yeni Opia" fikri ortaya
atıldı ve onaylandı.
Kadroyu tamamlamak için başlanan arayış çok
kapsamlıydı. Yaklaşık 3 ay süren uzun ve yorucu
bekleyiş sonunda, ince elenip sık dokunarak, aranan
kahramanlar bulundu, kısa süre içinde ön çalışmalar
tamamlandı ve reel çalışmalara başlandı.
Yeni Opia; pratikte yeni olmasına karşın, dağılan bir
grubun küllerinden doğduğundan ötürü köklü bir tecrübe
barındırmaktadır...
Grup; hiçbirşeyin eski kalmadığı, müziğin de
yenilenmesinin gerektiği düşüncesi ile yaşam tarzlarını
da müziğine yansıtarak, "yenilikçi sound" anlayışını
benimsemiştir.
Toplumsal veya bireysel sorunlar , kişisel görüşler
ve şahsi duygular gibi hayata aşina konuları bu
yenilikçiliğin içine enjekte ederek, ortaya çıkacak bu yeni
formu dinleyicilere sunmayı hedeflemiştir.

Beginning of 2006, Opia was a project yet while last
quarter of 2006, pulled away from being abstract and it
found new form. After many records and concerts, because
some reasons band is seperated at the end of 2008.
From old staff Ahmet, Gökhan and Uğur came together
for a new project. Meanwhile "New Opia" idea came
out and confirmed.
They started a search for complete their staff so
it's very wide. Approximate after three months, when
long and boring search is completed then required
members found. In short time preliminary works
completed and real works started. Opia is new, but
it's it was born from old band's ashes so it's
interiors radical experience.
Everything changes and nothing to be old, even music
needs a change too. With this idea and reflecting
their lifestyles into their music, they're adopted
"Reformer Sound" they have accepted it. They jerk this
familiar to life topics like social and individual
problems, personal wiews and personal feelings into
this innovation, a new form will arise and have in
one's sights to audiences.
