-Opie Hicks & The Elements were a 4-piece hip-hop, funk, and rock band fomed in early 2003. Based out of Springfield Missouri the band quickly gained a local following due to the bands unique sound. Taking the show out on the road The Elements have graced stages throughout the midwest and sharing the stage with national acts such as Tech N9ne, Steve Ewing of The Urge, 2 Live Crew, Afroman, The Phunk Junkeez, etc. And winning the Missouri Valley College Battle of the Bands competition in 2005. As of summer 2006 the fun came to an end due to differences in the band. This page is just paying tribute to some good times we all had in the past. All positive memories remembered.
