Interests

  • General

    ..General who?
  • Music

..Just like always, I'm all over the place. Frankly, I've been using Pandora like mad, because it's easier than trying to find new stuff to like. My stations right now are "The Postal Service", "John Legend", "Bad Company", "Gin Blossoms", "Long Live Rock" and oddly enough, "Sting". I don't listen to that one much.
  • Movies

..Baby Mama was pretty funny. I loved Step Brothers, but don't find myself quoting it in daily life. Not like Old School. I think there's a sequel in the works. It will probably be crap, but here's to hoping not.
  • Television

..I just got into "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia". I have no clue why I ignored it for so long. It's clearly my type of show. And on top of it all, a friend of mine reminds me of Sweet Dee so completely, it's almost scary.

Lost will be back soon. Heroes has been a slow disappointment, but hopefully that will rebound over the next few weeks. I miss Jericho. Boo CBS!
I am on a Mojo tear lately. I'm hooked on Three Sheets with Zane Lamprey. You must watch it. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll learn... about alcohol. Here's some Zane and Three Sheets.

Make sure you watch Mad Men, too, on AMC. From the same dude that make the Sopranos, but around advertising agencies in the early 60s. Amazing.
  • Books

..Devil My Care is on my night stand. James Bond books have never been a passion of mine, but this one received so much press that I had to check it out. So far, it's delivering on my expectations. I hope it wows me.
  • Heroes

..There are no more heroes in the world. That's why NBC made the show "Heroes."

Blurbs

About me:

Many eons ago, when wolverines roamed the earth and gas was a nickel, a housewife in Reno caused a tiny rip in the space-time continuum in a mishap involving a hair crimper and some Pringles.

From out if this rip sprang a delightful, witty creature whose creativity and sense of irony were unparalleled in the known world. Its name was Orange Alexander. Though Orange was composed entirely of the mineral bauxite, he possessed a highly intelligent nature and a keen fashion sense.

However, Orange could only wear t-shirts, as all other clothing was too hard on his mineral surface. But as he looked around his new space-time home, he found himself disgusted by all the insipid, puerile messages he saw on the T-shirts everyone was wearing.

So, one day Orange decided to start his own T-shirt company. Now he produces one-of-a kind shirts that are sometimes political, often irreverent, occasionally weird, but always fun. Vintage-styled and hand-printed, Orange's shirts are the perfect antidote to a culture deadened by numbing corporate homogeneity.

Two years and still going strong-ish, http://www.orangealexander.com.

Who I'd like to meet:

While meeting a celebrity is a fleeting moment that will only be interesting to friends the first three times you tell them, I think it is much more interesting to strive to be a celebrity. Particularly after a lifetime of trying, with no benefits received. That increasing level of anger at your own failure will make you a celebrity at the local water hole, where you drown your rage with shots of Jack, screw the Coke. Sounds like a sweet time, right?

I'm always working on shirt ideas. Ed's "I Got Wood" shirt is awesome. But I've seen other people make it. Originality is the name of the game here. I was thinking of making a shirt for the Winchester, the bar where Shaun and friends crash...
