Mrs Orange County 2009	Dec 6 2008 4:52 AM Personal Places Project I have started a new project for the children in domestic violence shelters in Orange County. I will be collecting the following items to be given to each child coming in to the shelters. New Pillow Cases - size unimportant Coloring books and crayons Journals Pens/Pencils **Stuffed Animals Each child entering a shelter had to give their normal up too, often that includes all of their belongings. I want to give these children something of their own to take with them regardless of whether or not they go to another shelter, a transitional housing program or back home. I would like to get this program up and running as soon as possible. If you have anything above that you would like to donate please email me at shanaksmith@yahoo.com. Whispers In My Mind	Oct 17 2008 4:33 AM My daughter and I always head to the artisan corner first and then buy a sausage. We mosey down each isle till we get the homemade churro stand and then grab a fresh made lemon. On a summer day we made end grabbing a frozen banana, which are the best! After walking down each isle we end at the produce stocking up on veggies and fruit before going home.
Whispers In My Mind	Oct 16 2008 6:21 AM I can remember coming down as a kid with my parents. It was fun then and it's fun now. My own daughter and I have our tradition when to attend to do a bit of shopping. My favorite aisle is the produce!

RACHEL	Sep 29 2008 10:06 PM I went to the Swap Meet (Orange County Market Place) on Saturday and had a blast! What more could you ask for? So much food, cool clothing vendors for everyone with different styles (I loved the guy who draws and customizes his own shirts and sweaters and sells them), fun music, and other various amazing booths and sights! I love it all! Keep it up, Swap Meet!!!!
