For over a dozen years, Orange Crush has been winning over fans from all over the country with their high-energy, and highly entertaining '80s Show. Recently voted "Best Cover Band - 2009" (by the readers of the Valley Advocate) "O.C." performs at clubs, on campuses and for public & private events throughout the year.
Guitarist Jeremy Simonich easily glides from one style to the next, while Bassist Rich Yirga keeps the bottom end locked down. Drummer Tom Kielbania JR supplies energy and non-stop flow, and Lead Vocalist Scott Lawson has become the heart and soul of the group, with his affable stage presence and "stadium rock" vocals.
Formed in Chicopee, Massachusetts in 1996: Orange Crush initially started performing as an REM tribute band (taking that band's song "Orange Crush" as their identifying moniker). The band soon started reshaping it's set list, to focus on dance-heavy smash hits from various '80s recording artists.
Playing shows at local clubs had resulted in a strong following, and as the band won their first (of what would later be many) Best Cover Band awards, they often found themselves taking to the road to tour colleges. Orange Crush has toured the majority of the Central and Southern United States, has opened for such acts as Ok Go, Reel Big Fish, Guster, Young Love, Punchline and continues to add to it's ever-growing fan base.
Today: O.C. plays clubs, colleges, conventions, corporate events, town green/park and rec. concerts, weddings and private parties. All of which makes them the perfect band for any occasion for people of any age.

First off, I want to thank everybody who came out to the CD release party and record label showcase for Mainline Records.
We have a bunch of additional shows for later in 2009 that we will be be announcing after the holidays are over with. All of the usual hot-spots that we trampled with regularity are having us back, and a bunch more colleges as well.
