| General | I really love travelling and meeting new people. I'm a really keen member of HospitalityClub, I get the coolest people to come sleep on my floor! :-) I travelled through Budapest (Hungary) to Novi Sad (Serbia) to go to the EXIT music festival there. It was a wicked festival and I met some awesome people along the way - including, bizzarely, a friend from my sixth form! I think she was as shocked to see me as I was to see her... I also made friends with a random Swedish girl who decided to dump her American travel partner follow me to the HC summer camp at a little farm in rural Normandy (France)...
I'm really into photography, too; I love taking random abstracts, trippy night-time long exposures and close-ups of all the bits of the world that everyone else ignores... I'm head of the Photographic Society at our University, which is cool. It's always great meeting other crazy photographers and seeing their working, and bouncing ideas off each other. | | Music | I like such a diverse range of music that I can't really start to explain - I guess it's probably easier to list what I don't like: Opera, heavy metal, (most) hip-hop, pop, country. That's about it. I guess I have a bit of a soft spot for funk, reggae and soul and also prefer stuff that's kinda fresh and reasonably-melodic, especially leftfield electronica, breakbeat and "world fusion". Yup, even Bhangra! :-) | | Movies | I must admit I don't watch as many movies as I'd like to, mostly because I'm pissed off with wasting my life on the pappy braindead shit that Hollywood tries to shove down our throats. I prefer films that speak to your mind and your heart... and they're so hard to find :-( | | Television | If I watched TV, I wouldn't be able to do all of the above. | | Heroes | (Almost) everyone I've ever met. Everyone's special in their own way, it's stupid to idolize somebody just because they happen to be well-known. |
