I know I'm not alone -- by Michael Franti, DreamCatcher, V for Vendetta, Don Juan De Marco, Pirates of the Caribean, Motorcycle Diaries, Chocolat, Kingdom of heaven (religious but still good), my new favorite movie is THE CONSTANT GARDENER, everyone needs to watch that movie at least once!
Television
Has anyone wondered how comedy central has better news coverage than the actual news channels... seriously you learn more about what's going on with the world and numbnuts (bush) by watching The Daily Show with John Stewart or Colbert Report, not to mention Bill Maher on HBO. Don't you just miss Edward R. Murrow? It's sad how 'journalists' can call themselves that nowadays, it's more like a popularity contest now.

Well, I can't say too much or you'd be reading on for hours, but I will start by saying that yes, I am a young mommy or mami whatever you want to call me. Little darling Sofia will be 2 in september, does time fly or what?! Anyway, since I am a young parent, there are a lot of issues that concern me now more than ever, things like the war and the whole borders thing, I mean how can your government not concern you, especially if you have or are planning to have kids in the future?! You think about THEIR future and how the world is going to be like for them when they grow up, you want to protect them from everyone and fix everything for them, and trust me, you try, but you can only do so much. And of course some things they've got to figure out on their own, they've gotta live life too, right? For now, we do our best to take her out on little adventures, she loves being outside, she loves flowers and plants, not to mention books! She's so perfect, I couldn't have asked for a better baby. And she is sooo smart, not only can she name every body part, she knows colors too! She can name every color except for the obvious, you know, silver, gold etc.. When was the last time you met a 21 month old baby that can name every color of the rainbow including black and white?! I think Grant and I are doing a great job at it, it comes natural and we love being with her and taking her new places, teaching her new things. Anyway if there's anything else you want to know about me, write me up, let me know, or just drop by and say hi.
