About Orange Peel Sunshine

Established in winter of 1999; some high school buddies joined forces to play music. Recorded first album in one week (Spring Break 2000, baby!) titled "Apple." Gigged throughout Deep Ellum--in its glory days :-(--at venues such as Trees, Curtain Club, Liquid Lounge, Galaxy Club, Club Clearview, The Door, etc. Performed live on-air in a bit called "2 Minutes To Sparedome" during prime-time section "The Hardline" on Texas's own 1310AM The Ticket in 2003.

We give props to founding members: Joe Free on second guitar and backup vocals, and Nick Forte on drums and being awesome; and special thanks to former member Jeff Cates on second guitar. We are now the three-piece you read to your left.

All songs recorded by Chris Skinner and produced by Orange Peel Sunshine, (with the exception of "Second Story Affair," recorded live by Nick Durant @ Dallas Sound Labs).
