THE PALACE - Every Friday night without fail, You knew by the size of the queue, that you were in for a proper night or not, and every week that queue would be slung right round the corner and you'd meet and see the same face's there every week. Straight in!!! safe bouncers, coat in the cloak room, down the staircase and you'd be greeted by Squirrel playing warm up. Now within the hour the Volume would slightly increase, No lasers YET, dance floor and stage area becoming more and more frequented with eager faces and all acknowledging Squirrels tight mixes and swift tune selection!!!! THEN COMETH THE HOUR, The volume's way past 10, and the rumbling intro of D-SHAKE -Techno Trance would be steadily building, Then without fail……. BANG on the first drum break of this tune…... Laser's kick in, smoke is filled, bass scoop's working.
THE PALACE COME'S ALIVE!!!!!!!! Mic on Chris gives us all a warm welcome with a "HIIIIIIIIII YA, You know it makes sense", that's it, your in now!!! Next tune coming in I believe would be CYBERSONIK - TECHNARCY, Followed by QUADROPHONIA - QUADROPHONIA Followed by DJ SPACE - THE VISITOR, RABBIT CITY 001 Either side, EDGE 01 COMPNDED and top of with a slice of MOBY GO would basically make for the best intro into any club night!!!!! and then T99 and TRIGGER both WISDOM and STRATOSPHERE…Hold up, BITTIN BACK - SHE'S BREAKIN UP is played from the edge, and the runnin man makes his appearance through the laser's… PKA - TEMPERATURE RISE gets thrown in, and the Laser's go into over drive, whilst the whole floor and stage area are all trying to out reach each other to the chorus ha ha!!!Then Mr Squirrel would come back in with such things as MANIX,Then the bad bad tunes from the man Darren Pearce, PSYCHOPATHS and BASS CONSTRUCTION, Coming in tight each and every
