Hornaday Returns To Orange Show Speedway, July 12th. 2008
(June 18th, 2008) Ron Hornaday returned to his roots two years ago, running a Super Late Model race at Orange Show Speedway (O.S.S.), in San Bernardino, California.
This year, he’ll be back for another round.
The speedway’s director of competition, Gary Stockman said, “This is great for the fans, but it’s good for Hornaday too!” Hornaday, a Southern California Native, is currently in a championship battle in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. He is the defending title-holder in the series, in which he is a 3-Time Champ, and holds the record for the most wins in the series.
“It feels great to run on the short tracks out in, California, so this will be fun. It’s great to see family and friends out there, but the fans, well, most of them helped me get my start,” stated Hornaday”. This year, his wife, Lindy, will join him at the “California Home Coming. ”
