Who we are:
Peter began his musical career by playing drums for many Detroit acts before getting his frist taste of vocals with "The Intellecutal Mosquitoes". After a two year run with the band, he moved to L.A. where he joined the pop rock group "Pretty Sneaky Sis". After a visit from his old high school pal, Andy Binkowski, he realized what he really wanted & needed out of music & returned to Detroit to help form Orbis. He now spotlights his vocal talent ("real gift of song") & was responsible for writing & co-writing many of Orbis' songs. As lead vocalist, his charismatic stage presence makes any Orbis show unforgettable.
Andy attended Wayne State University where he concentrated his studies with the prestigious School of Jazz. He's been a founding member of many Detroit acts such as The Chuck Bartels Trio & Future Son. He's had a vision to begin Orbis "since the day I was born" & concretely founded the band with fellow member, Peter Asaro, in 2000. He's also accomplished for other musical talents such as playing bass, guitar, & piano, as well as engineering & producing many of Orbis' sounds, song writing, & studio recording.
Sliv, and that's all you have to know him by, attended Sterling Heights High School with Andy and Pete and has been groovin on his bass ever since. After a long absence from playing, Sliv joined local cover band The Point, and from there his chops exclerated, There is something to said about a bassist that can groove and you can definately say that about Sliv!
A private guitar instructor and a performer in area rock groups, J. brings Orbis the raw guitar power needed to give Orbis the sound it has created. Jay was truly the missing piece Orbis has been looking for!
