About me: Since its beginning Orbit Audio has had one goal- To make better records. To provide the tools, and the skills we've acquired at a cost that you can actually afford.
We've got the tools that until now only artist with major label budgets could afford to use. From the modern state of the art (Protools HD, Distressor, Manley, Lexicon, Alan Smart, Royer). To the vintage classics (Neve, Telefunken, Pultec, API, Neumann, Studer, Ampex, Trident, SSL, DBX). This is the stuff used on all your favorite records. And we have a continuing commitment to provide our clients with the highest level of recording equipment on earth.
But what good is all that fancy gear if you don't have someone who knows how to get the best out of it? That's why we've put together one of the most experienced staffs of producers, and engineers in Seattle with numerous indie label, and major label credits. We are the people who know how to make records, especially on a budget.
And we haven't forgotten about your comfort. We know how stressful making records can be, hell we do it everyday. That's why we have a cool 70's chill out lounge with comfy couches for you to take your mind off for a little while. And if you just have to get out, you'll find the downtown location overflowing with restaurants, cafes, and bars where you can really get away for a while.
At Orbit Audio we have an ongoing determination to provide the best environment for you to make your records. But like Flavor Flav said- don't believe the hype. Come over and check it out for yourself and see why we are one of Seattle's best recording studio's.
