My music:
I believe music, like any other form of art, is all about an individual experience. An artist, creates for the purpose of presenting an overall experience for the receiver of the art (no matter what the outlet of the "art" may be). The receiving individual responds to the stimuli (no matter what sensory is being stimulated), with either a positive or negative response. Therefore, the experience is really for the receiver, not the creator of the art.
With this in mind, music is really nothing more than an organization of sound, for an extended period of time, with a not so random composition of rhythm, tempo, pitch, harmony, and other "musical" aspects which I'm not going to discuss. As my knowledge of this musical process (theory) increases, so should the quality of my own creations. These are my feeble attempts at creating such "experiences" described above. I hope that you can enjoy them as much as I have had creating them.
Current:
As most of you could probably tell I had been offline for quite a while. Sadly I had a computer crash, and it has taken a while to recover. But, now things are up and running, even better than before. Currently I am working in a broad spectrum of areas musically. During the time my computer was down, I had written quite a few new songs for piano. I will either record these as a solo piano, or end up mixing with electronic elements. Eventually, I may add a couple of these to the latest album that is underway. This is still undecided.
Also, I have quite a few collaborative projects enque. There are several tracks that still need finished from my sessions with Dose. As well as the two songs with the Irish vocalist Sara Daly. Also, I am going to be collaborating with the R+B producer Chris Walker. All of these should be interesting.
