Cut from the same cloth as the infamous crew Essex Court, which he is still a loyal member of. Many interested fans have asked, "why Orca the Killa Whale"? Well the answer is simple. Since the birth of this remarkable creature he has been called Orc as a nickname. Not just by family but by all who have encountered this enormous mammal in all bodies of water, land and in air. Yes air. This Killa Whale of an emcee most definitly can take flight and you along with him when he touches the mic. When the moon and the stars are aligned and the tide rolls in, is when Orca becomes the most powerful animal on the globe...the Killa Whale. The Orc's style has been described as "Viciously Smart" and has become one style to watch out for "When Animals Attack". Don't let it be you, on the opposite end of his bite. He swam on the hip hop scene in 1990, when Essex Court had the honor to open for the legendary Public Enemy. The Orc is beyond a one dimensional threat in these treacherous waters of emcees. Not only does he rap, he is the composer, programmer, mixer and arranger of all the tracks you are hearing, and the owner of Red Vapours Studios. The O.R.C. is also the eye behind many of the pics you are viewing and is the owner of the Orlando M. Mosely Gallery (myspace.com/theorc1). This Killa Whale never stops moving. With the success of the Red Haze Entertainment Label he released the debut album from Essex Court entitled "The Serum", with much praise from the hip hop community. Swimming on to direct the Essex Court hip hop classic "Ghetto Goldrush"(35mm), that received heavy rotation on MuchMusic and many other video shows alike. From there he went on to write, direct and edit another video entitled "Hopeless"(35mm), by a former Red Haze Entertainment artist, Lyrical Bliss. Let’s not forget the video hit "Standin' Ground"(35mm) he wrote, directed and edited for the Red Haze Entertainment artist known as Quiz, which also received heavy rotation. He has also hosted MuchMusic's RapCity, performed on MuchMusic's Xtenda- mix and has appeared on the Jenny Jones show twice for the battle of the bands. Moreover, his music for the group Essex Court was the only rap track on the tele-feature "X-rated" distributed by CBC. Speaking of CBC, his music and artwork has been featured on the hit show Street Sense and seen by over 75,000 viewers each week. Orca the Killa Whale also made Indie Pool Distributing's top ten selling albums along side some tough competition. The Oracle is also an actor in such work as: twenty-seven episodes of YTV's show CLIPS, the Seven-UP billboard campaign, Western Union campaign, the film-short entitled Flag For The Moon, MuchMusic's Ohh La La, Phat TV, the movie P.C.U., Molson Canadian commercials, lead in the Virginia Net Life Campaign, Class of '96 and many other projects. Besides performing with Public Enemy, Orca the Killa Whale has also performed with superstars such as Wu Tang Clan, Gangstarr, The Coco Brovas, Helter Skelter, O.G.C., Kid Capri, Maestro, Busta Rhymes, Outkast, Mya, Bounty Killer, Born Jamericans, B.T.K., Kinny Starr, Zhane, Ready For The World, Rob Base, Red Head Kingpin, Michie Mee, JD Era, Bishop, Theology 3 and many others.
