Orchard is a quartet dotted with crafty piano work, crunchy guitars, and tight-nit grooves with a side of soundscapes.
Their repertoire runs from acoustic to electronic, rock to post-rock and they are influenced by such groups as, Brian Eno, Four Tet, and Radiohead.
Orchard formed when Nick Fevelo’s insightful song writing aesthetic teamed up with Dan Rufolo’s virtuosic ability on piano. For a while they played just as a duo until they invited the backbone, Emil Rufolo on drums and Adrian Moring on bass.
Currently, in the studio, they are finishing up the final details on Orchard’s first EP. The album will feature electronic songs like Coloring Book, rock-based songs such as Euphoric Euphoria, and experimental songs like Fate Assurance. Orchard is a group unlike many others. They believe in being true to their art, and promise to explore new grounds.
