Who ever said true Metal is dead, doesn't know what the hell their on about! American Order Of Nine certainly prove that True Metal is a live and well, with their new album Season Of Reign. To be honest I don't know that much about Order Of Nine, but I do know what I like and I really like Order Of Nines Season Of Reign. With its purer old school attitude that reminds me of Queensryche in their early days. This goes double for Micheal DeGrena vocals are reminiscent of Geoff Tate in places. Season Of Reign is an album that reminds me why I got into Metal all those years ago. So if you know whats good for you, youll get a copy of Order Of Nines Season Of Reign. ....-- Hard & Heavy 97/100 ........ Finally! A kick-ass metal CD with ultra heavy power riffs and spirited leads and solo work. In a world ever dominated by nu metal and progressive metal wannabes, Order Of Nine brings the goods and no one with any sense and a love of pure power metal would dare disagree. .... Mike DeGrena, the vocalist, brings it like Geoff Tate only five times harder and several keys deeper. The guitar work of Michael Chiccitt though is the ultimate highlight of the album and it rips, shreds and tears bone from sinewy muscle. He is fast yet clean, reminiscent of some of the best of Vivian Campbell with small quick bursts of powerful solo work. Some examples of this great axe work are an ultra-clean, piercing guitar solo in Somnia Requiem, the distortion laced solo in Learn the Way or the manic solo on Vow of Silence. .... There just isnt enough space to name the best track on the album because you'd have to name every single song! Their overall sound is similar to old Dio or even a slightly muted Metal Church, with a twist of NWOBHM feel. Drums of Michael Sirera that lead yet don't overpower the guitar riffs, spirited vocals and excellent lyrics: this is a recipe for metal stardom. The bass also shines as it lays a nice hard line and occasionally gets a chance to show off a little, like towards the end of Learn the Way. .... The CD even has a power metal ballad, Nameless, where DeGrena shines on vocals and the guitar is beautiful. The bottom line is this album is outstanding and the band and label should be tremendously proud of this piece of metal artwork. Vanexa were one of the first Italian heavy metal band, their self-titled LP was consecrated by the national press as the first italian heavy metal album. Born in Savona in 1978, their sound was typically Anglo-Saxon evidence abroad where they were cited by several magazines as proponents of the new wave of heavy metal
band from late '70s early '80s. They also participated as a headliner at the first heavy metal festival held in Certaldo Italian in Florence May 21, 1983. In their careers have also participated in various compilations including metal of Metal Mountain, exit the United States, with the song "Hanged Man" and Metal Italy with the song "It's Over". In 2007 a CD reissue of their eponymous debut album with 3 bonus tracks and unreleased second album "Back From The Ruins" with 5 bonus tracks taken from a live concert of 1984 was released in 2010 is out "1979-80" a compilation of early material ( totally sung in italian) released on vynil and cd supports. We needed a new fresh band with a new fresh sound. VANEXA spearheaded what was termed 'the new wave of heavy metal'. They were a more than welcome addition of the italian hard rock/metal scene. Yet, this debut offering offers more energy and speed than actual accomplishment. In 1983 VANEXA released their self-titled debut album, starting what would become a legendary career for the band. They were one of many promising bands in the New Wave of Heavy Metal movement at the time. Following the success of Vanexa, the band released released their second album Back From The Ruins in 1988. The album featured fan-favourites "Midnight Wolves", "Creation", "Hanged Man". This new album contained many tracks that had been written prior to the release of the debut album, but were considered surplus. With songs already shaped on the road well in advance, only two new tracks were written for the album; Hanged Man and Creation. The band adopted a different approach for their 1994 studio album, titled Against The Sun. This was not a concept album, though it was themed loosely around the idea of social problems. It featured, for the first time in the band's history, synthesized Keyboards and guitars sounds to add textures and layers to the sound. Though considered different from the norm of Vanexa sounds, it a good response across the world, especially for new incredible voice of Roberto TIRANTI. The VANEXA lyrics contains literature quotes about famous books/movies or social problems fusioned in great heavy metal sound.

So, we are friend on here now? Sweeet. Do you like camping? Have you seen our page? We are trying to rangle this together and get folks involved. Does it seem like something you would enjoy?
Hey what's up? How much would you be willing to pay for a year round band membership to a 42+ acre, multi stage venue? Our current price is set for $1000.00 year round, but we can be flexible, as long as we raise enough funds to make the initial purchase.
Bands not in Pennsylvania might appreciate having a base of operation to fall back on while making their rounds through the Pennsylvania circuits. Word of mouth is greatly appreciated.
