O.R.D.U.C. was founded in 1971 and stands for One-o-seventh Royal Dutch Underground Company. O.R.D.U.C. started as a band and went soon into a project for experimental music. Gradually the music chanced to minimal-pop.
In 1980 O.R.D.U.C. got ‘worldfamous’ through the release of “Crazy Computer” on the EP “17 To 7 On 33”, by Plurex. In April 1981 followed the album “Pink & Purple” including "I Am So Glad The King Is Dead". Later that year “Fast Foreward” and “New Cubism" were released. Also the next albums were released: “The Beatear” (1984), “D-Train” (1988), “Bonus-Tracks (1998) including "Bonus-Track"". Also some tracks on compilation-albums were released over the years.
Recently (last April and May) O.R.D.U.C. has recorded two new songs - one of them is "Fragments (Light-Dub)". Now recordings for the O.R.D.U.C.-album have started.
