There are also a number of solo artists and bands creating new music!
The Oregon State Musician’s Guild has been created to serve as a community of all the garage band musicians at Oregon State. This club will help get you practice space, and gigs, new musical experiences, quite possibly lessons and other options as well.
By keeping in contact with the MUPC, ASOSU, Student Leadership and Involvement, and RHA we hope to provide you with the most opportunities possible for being a musician here at Oregon State.
Anyone is welcome to join, and if you want to help get this club going please email Craig Bidiman (President) or Charley McGowan (Founder).
As Charles and I are both musicians, we know the difficulties and scrutiny involved with this rather ridiculous and exacerbated business. Please, if you have any events, or ideas sparking up in those creative boxes of heads of yours, let us know! We will promote the event until it is bleeding.
Also, if you see the musicians that are already in bands, and you want to get a show with one of them, just send them an email. I know almost all the musicians that are in bands in this club, and they are all super rad guys. All of the bands are willing to create new forms of expression and put on events.
