A collaborative project by two of the freshest yet experienced young talents from the .xs collective. Shino (of X'Statix/X'Scapists) and The Ish (formerly of Public Eyez) merge their rhyme skills and stage presence to form Oren Ishii. Named after a deadly female assassin from the movie Kill Bill, the duo will prove to be a deadly combination of razor sharp microphone skills by experimenting on different sounds and unorthodox styles of rhyming.

.. .. Rebel Yell have released their music video for the single 'Rebels in the System'. Teamed up with multimedia students from Republic Polytechnic, the trio have released their first ever music video for the song about everything that’s bad and how no one can remain ignorant about it.
And like the boys say, if you not down with it, then get the fuck on with it.

.. .. 65 & Hope present Family Affair II. Back for the second time, Family Affair showcases independent hip-hop collectives/families in Singapore & Malaysia. The Rebel Scum, who performed at the first instalment are back with their family, The Rogue Squadron, and they are no strangers to both the SG & MY scene. Dome Squad Clique, popularly known as DSC has had their fair share of attention in local scene. With front runners like Valentia Phlow, Fatalitee Phlow and many more, they are one of the most talented and brightest families around. Being one of the first collective to release an EP in 2006, they are now currently working on their much anticipated 2nd release.
Other performances include Dose Two, the ordinary heroes/gentlemanly poets from Kuala Lumpur, who have rocked the SG scene a couple of times. Public Eyez, one of SG Hip-hop's pioneering crew. Feekee'D, DaFam's most hardworking rapper. The controversy 'love me or hate me, I dont give a f***' lyricist, Pendekar and the most poetic rapper of our time, Bless. Top 7 from last month's Protege, will open the show so expect a lot of good hip-hop music from SG & MY.
The show will be hosted by none other, Freaky Z. For more information on the event and hip-hop in Singapore, visit www. 65hope. com. :)
Popular rapper wants more than just being a name within the Hiphop scene. Freaky Z releases his first full length album weirdly titled 'Fymps' and asks his listeners to make up whatever they want with the letters F,Y,M,P,S. One idea is "Funny Young Musician Promoting Singapore" while others can simply get vulgar! Fazli Nasser, his real name, can't help it, coming from a family background that's far from typical.
Funny man, Freaky Z, channels his frustration of being expelled from school, jumping from job to job, even being diagnosed with cancer to humourous jingles; a whopping 21 tracks in his album released on the 23rd December 2007 at the PlayDen, Arts House.
The album release party will feature his friends such as Peepshow, Xstatix, Rauzan, Public Eyez, Psykes, Sleeq and more, in skits unseen before at other Hiphop events, and of course, his tumour-to-humour antics, energetic nonsensical stand-up comedy-like stance.
Date: 23rd December 2007, Sunday Time: 3pm sharp Venue: Playden, The Arts House Admission: $10 inclusive of 1 copy of FreakyZ's 'Fymps'
Hope to see you there! Holla atcha boy!!! Peace! :)
