I'm not into series books though except for Harry Potter. :0)

I'm Courtney. I'm still crazy, maybe crazier. I'm still smart, maybe smarter. I am majoring Business Management and minoring in Film and the Electronic Arts at California State University, Long Beach. Some day I hope to be a film producer, or at least mangage the finances of a film production company. Currently I am 19 and will be turning 20 in April. I am involved in a whole lot of things and it drives my boyfriend crazy. LOL. I go to school, I work at the VA Hospital in the HR department, I'm in Cirle K where we do community service projects, American Marketing Association, Christians on Campus and I am part of the Hope Film Ministry at Hope Chapel and just finished the production phase "Samuel Seventeen". I have a handsome boyfriend whom I love and I don't know what I would ever do without him because he's been with me through soo many trials in my life. I'm still pretty shy but I think I'm improving, especially with the help of caffeine. My most recent goal is to fit into a size 6 by the summer and I actually believe I can achieve it for once because I'm already getting smaller slowly but surely. Last of all, I love my family no matter how imperfect we may be. Below is one of my favorite poems of all times! It always makes me feel better.
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
 
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him, and the other to the LORD.
 
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
 
He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints.
 
He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.
 
This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it:..
 
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."
 
The LORD replied:
 
"My son, my precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

In your eyes, people see brightness in
everything.... and I mean... EVERYTHING! You're
so optimistic and think of everything as just a
new adverture! You're very energetic, happy,
fun, and loving. Everyone seems to want to be
just like you because you're a great example of
people who live life to its fullest! You don't
really have a sanctuary... That is... Besides
the whole world >.< You love to have a good
time and enjoy yourself among your friends,
family, even strangers or by yourself! However,
being so happy and energetic can also be your
downfall... Some people might see you as a
crazy person who doesn't take anything
seriously, but that's so not true! Just because
you see life better than them doesn't give them
the right to act crabby. Keep living life to
its fullest and hopefully you can drag some
other people along with you ^-^

    Awww, yeah concert band is always conflicting unless you build your schedule based on that one (but no one in the right mind would lol)

    Yeah, I actually went to help them out last friday at a festival.
    They sounded pretty good, despite the bad day they were having (the buses were stuck in traffic so they were about half an hour late in getting to don lugo and then the bus driver left while wind ensemble was playing so the concert band didn't have their folders until they were entering the stage)

    Fall Training Conference (FTC) is a District Circle K event where we all go to a ranch in Sonora, CA (NorCal) and there are team-building, fundraising, and social workshops, as well as many social opportunities and service projects as well. Its a lot of fun.
