Hailing from the birthplace of hip hop, better known as the Boogie Down Bronx, comes the hip hop soul group Organized Minds. Formed during the summer of 2005 in a small basement apartment Grav, MP, Cespence and Protege aka (The Fantastic 4), have already graced countless stages all along the eastern seaboard. With powerful faith driven lyrics and songs like "Sandman", "Make it Out Alive" and "Anything is Possible" the group has shown people of all ages that hip hop music can accomplish more than simply the glorification of drugs, money, sex and the degrading of women.
Unlike your ordinary hip hop group Organized Minds serves up a recipe of Hip Hop, Beat Boxing, Jazz, R&B, Soul, Rock & Reggae all rolled into one... Watching the group perform and hearing their lyrics is like listening to the autobiography, of not only the members but that of everyday people." Eddie Calderon Evangelist NYC Church of Christ
All in their early twenties the group gladly accepts the role of ambassador for today..s adolescent. ..Every line, melody, bridge and hook is delivered with the utmost sincerity of heart. We address real issues that people face. You will bop your head to our music, while at the same time walk away with something, without feeling preached to.. explains MP.
Having landed a spot as one of fourteen Christian artists for their hit single ..Victory Stage...., the group was selected to appear on the ..New Wineskins Christian Compilation album. Enjoying immediate success the members of Organized Minds have already performed alongside two time Grammy winner Speech of Arrested Development, lead singer John Adams of Nineveh Road & Johnny King of the legendary group Heat Wave.
If that wasn..t enough, Organized Minds recently signed an exclusive label deal with Promise Communications and have already begun working on their debut album. With powerful rhymes, tight beats and an electric stage show, Organized Minds is sure to deliver a knockout punch.
