About Orghia

The Orghia project has started at the beginning of 2006, when five long-time friends decided to join forces, trying to mix the power of the old-school Thrash with the fast and aggressive attitude of the Swedish Death Metal ("At The Gates" means something for you ?). Anyway, despite our past studio and live experiences with many many bands, we feel like we are born again to our roots and are ready to seriously kick your metalbanger's asses. In summer 2006 we released the E.P. "Waiting for the dusk" with 4 songs and it had very positive review on local magazines and italian webzines, even the live feedback was very interesting. In summer 2007 we recorded the fulllenght "The Dusk", directly produced and mixed by our friend Klas Ideberg (guitar player from Darkane, Terror2000, The Defaced) at Not Quite Studio in Helsinborg (Sweden). In early 2008 we sign a deal with Coprorecords Casket and we released our first full lenght "The Dusk" the 23th june 2008. So, have a listen at our songs and come to see us live. What we want to do is just to play our favourite music... and play it fuckin' LOUD ! !

Sabato prossimo 18 Luglio i The Sentinel la tribute band dei Judas Priest suonerà per noi all'ippodromo delle cascine di Firenze (via del Pegaso 1) Ed il sabato dopo (sabato 25 Luglio), sempre all'Ippodromo Le Mulina delle Cascine é il momento del ritorno dei grandissimi Story of Jade che presenteranno nuovi pezzi e nuovo repertorio e con una scenografia horror come sempre suggestiva ed affascinante.
