Orginalljudet startades för tre år sedan av ett gäng Umeåbor i Stockholmsexil med hjälp av en hemmabyggd trumma i plåt, några inspelade ackord från ett ostämt piano och en stor dos gnagande hemlängtan. Med de komponenterna så har de med hjälp av en egen klipp&klistrateknik byggt upp ett låtmaterial som har sina rötter i den uråldriga och bortglömda genren orginalmusik. På elektriska redskap, missljudande slagverk, kontrabas, dragspel, tuba och saxofon framför de instrumental knivtango, norrlänskt vemod, cirkusmusik och outsiderjazz ala moondog. Haltande revolverpolska, smäktande sjutakter, kamelgung och falsksång. Vemodigt men aldrig sentimentalt, brutalt men aldrig våldsamt.

It's not ambient music, but rather music that elucidates space in a way that reminds me both of the works of Folke Rabe as well as David Lynchs classic Eraserhead movie score. However, it's dressed with slight melodies of most softened light, making it an overall less dark experience. Musical textures builds around tender yet majestic cello performances from Fred Lonberg-Holm, the almost constrained pianowork from Sara Andrea Lundgren (Which actually sounds like an almost Feldmanesque take on "Summertime") as well as the mildly cracked folktunes of Råd Kjetil. As a whole it also carries a lenient theatrical feel which makes it comfortably timeless.
