Kolossaalista alternative-rockia soittava Oriental jam kertoo tarinoita ihmisistä ja siitä mihin ihmiskunta on menossa. Jos maailman tulevaisuus onkin synkkä, on siellä aina myös pilkahdus toivoa.Yhtyeen matka alkoi vuosituhannen alussa ja muutamien miehistönvaihdosten jälkeen kokoonpano muotoutui nykyiselleen vuosina 2007-2008. Oriental jamin musiikissa yhdistyvät rytmikkyys, iso moderni äänimaisema, kolossaalisuus ja kauniit melodiat. Kokonaisuus kerrotaan kuulijalle herkästi ja kauniisti tai raskaasti ja lujaa. Jokainen kappale ja tarina voisi olla osa kenen tahansa elämää ja tulevaisuutta. Yhtye julkaisi ensimmäisen kokopitkän levynsä ”Celebration” vuonna 2009. Singlet ”Money sadness” sekä ”Celebration” nousivat suomen viralliselle singlelistalle. Levyn myötä yhtye keikkaili ympäri Suomea ja teki myös kiertueen Kiinassa. Hieman raskaampi ja tummasävyisempi toinen levy julkaistaan vuonna 2011. ------------------------------------------------------------------- With it's colossal alternative rock sound, Oriental jam tells you stories about people and the future of human race. Somewhere in the middle of what might be a dark future could be a glimpse of hope. The band begun their journey at the beginning of millennium and the final line-up was formed somewhere between 2007-2008. The music of Oriental jam combines rhythm, a big modern sound, beautiful melodies and a colossal feel. The outcome can be either sensitive and beautiful or rough and loud. Every song and story could be a part of anyone's life or future. Their debut album titled Celebration was released in 2009 and the singles’’ Money sadness’ and ‘ Celebration’ peaked at the official singles chart in Finland. After the release band toured Finland and also did a successful tour in China. Their Second album which will have a darker character and a heavier sound will be released in 2011. -
