Boe's current WORKLOG includes both poetry, visual and conceptual art, as well as electro-acoustic, collage and noise music. The music is mostly performed on his ACOUSTIC LAPTOPS; woodboxes with various found sound-objects and contact microphones inside.

The four pieces form abstract narratives - sometimes ultra-minimal, sometimes eruptive - freed from preset context, yet with an obvious debt to new music composers."

acoustic laptops summercamp:workstation - Leading a week long workshop node on instrument-building at Haus Der Kulturen Der Welt in Berlin. 18 participants created 20 new acoustic laptops, there were solo recordings and collective presentations of various acoustic laptops orkesters. Documented as a participant edition cdr set with audio and photo/video (below), and on a normal audio cdr (komkol 277 from ORIGAMI EKONOMIKA)
gjendiktninger - the two first series of small old-school visual art have been completed (various materials mounted on small pieces of wood, icon-style), now for sale (photos in my Facebook)
And actually even nicer was the 'Noise Diary' by Origami Boe, also known as Tore H. Boe, whom we know as a delicate master of electro-acoustic music, but has here two four minute live pieces ... We hear the acoustic (indeed, its them) laptops of Boe every now and then popping up, but they sit nicely captured in the electric environment. And opposed to many other noise makers, Boe knows when its time to end a tune. An important distinction. (FdW)
