KILLING FLOOR released a new album "Zero Tolerance" in 2004 and is currently preparing material for a new album, its fourth, and accepting new concert bookings. KILLING FLOOR was formed in 1968 and was part of the original British blues boom in the 1960s. Contemporaries of FREE, TASTE and BLACK SABBATH the band toured with Texas blues legend FREDDIE KING and released two classic albums. Later, band members went on to work with RORY GALLAGHER, PAUL RODGERS and others, and in 2004 the band reformed to produce "Zero Tolerance", released worldwide on the Appaloosa Label.
The band is now on the road again with its original four piece line-up: MICK CLARKE (also of the MICK CLARKE BAND) on guitar, BILL THORNDYCRAFT on vocals and harp, BAZZ SMITH on drums and STUART (MAC) McDONALD on bass. The band is joined by DAVE LENNOX (ex Ginger Baker / Blodwyn Pig) piano.
