About mp records

MP-Records, originally founded in 1987, 100% artist-owned record label and freshly renovated digital home to such great original sound creators as downbeat outfit SOLAR MOON, nu-jazz institution KARMA, slowmotion rockers THE GERMANIACS and singer/songwriter WINTER is here again to supply you with the finest in musical deepness.
We figured the time was about right (at least for all those beautiful artists mentioned above. and some others, maybe...) to take things into our own hands. Thus going back ‚to our roots’ – our own record label, in this case.
We’re currently still rebuilding this place so it doesn’t look as cool yet as we wish it would, but we’re working hard. There is quite an impressive bunch of stuff waiting to be relased throughout 2008 - but planning already goes far beyond that. Not only will 2008 see the release of the third SOLAR MOON album ‚blackbook’ - we will also have two very impressive debut albums of both THE GERMANIACS and WINTER ready as we approach summer. And all of those really nice albums will be accompanied by releases of exclusive mixes by names oh-so-well-known and...
unknown ;-) plus some live concert activities we're planning on...
