Writing lyrics and singing is my self-expression. I feel alive on the stage. When I'm away from playing music, it's like I'm left alone in the middle of nowhere.
I've been singing in different bands for almost 10 years in Japan. My dream is to sing in a band outside of Japan and get appreciation regardless of where I come from. Once moved to in Vancouver, Canada to persure this dream only to face difficulty but I am not going to give it up (fuck all those who tried to bring me down). I won't end up in Japan forever, I will go anywhere if there are people who appreciate my voice. I'd like to know creative, open-minded, friendly and dedicated musicians who are serious in creating original and unique stuff, playing shows frequently and recording.
Mostly I've played hard rock and metal, and I'm such a huge metal fan that I traveled to Germany to see metal festivals. However I'm open to various music styles, and I just don't like categorizing music in particular genre and I'm not sticking to only one style either. Basically I like good vocal melodies and stuff that rocks with heavy/hard/edgy sound. I'd say I simply like rock with good melodies. I also like softer music such as AOR and enjoy classical music, easy-listening and folklore music at times...anyway I don't discriminate while some stuff are not my cup of tea. Good music is good, period. And I just think taking different elements and influences into my works will be interesting.
I'm not the best singer in the world technically, and I know I have lots of things to learn now. But I'm full of ambition and passion. Playing good music to my heart's content is the most important thing, and huge commercial success is not necessary as long as there are people really appriciate me.
My lyrics and singing is my real voice from my heart. And it's like breathing, laughing, crying or whatever we do everyday so I will be choked and dead if I can't express what I feel through music. Many people say that my lyrics are negative or dark - but it's not really true. There are so many other people who can write "let's party and have fun" song, so I leave that work to them and I do something different. Indeed some works deal with "dark" or "negative" feelings such as pain, sorrow or loss, but I think if you just lock these feelings in your mind and never try to face them and just run away from them, or if you pretend to be happy believing that only "let's have fun" songs are good- it looks fake and superficial happniness that might be negative after all. I'm trying to get those feelings out of my mind and face them by writing lyrics. It's exactly like taking out bad elements out of my mind to be refreshed and positive. Some words stab your heart so hard, like opening up your emotional wounds. But other words will gently wrap your hurt soul.

Thank you for being so friendly! I am a huge Steve Clark fan, as you can probably tell from my website, and I write a lot of original material. I love all musicians that take the time to learn an instrument, or sing, because one's voice is the most important instrument of all, to get real rock and roll back.
