Well, I got into the electronica scene when I was 14. I started going to raves and my brother started djing. I stayed home and wrote tracks on a program called impulse tracker. My family moved, and I met a gentleman named Ian Phillips. We started a band with another gentleman named Russell Pumphrey. Both are talented musicians. We formed a band and entered the battle of the bands. That was our first show. We won the 1999 local battle of the bands and ticked off all of the ska kids. After that we released a few more albums, but people changed, and the band fell apart. Ian still is writing music, but now lives in Seattle, and Russell decided that there were other paths for him. I am currently writing & collaborating with local artists and promoters in an attempt to bring electronic music to our local area.

I just put a new track on my profile & web site,
www. djberni. com
It all started when a friend of mine sent me the following YouTube link,
http://www. youtube. com/watch?v=Wr8y9BVP2e0&eurl=http://failblog. org/page/6/
It's a news story all about a cop who, after making brownies from confiscated Marijuana gets sooo high he thinks he’s having an overdose & calls 911.
After picking myself up off the floor from laughing so hard I decided to try & get inside this guys stoned mind & put some music to it. It's very slow & heavy with lots of sub bass & dubby FX. Let me know what U think.
Limited Time FREE DOWNOAD from my site in WAV. AIF. & MP3 formats!
Cheers,
Berni.
Hey Ben! It's been 4-eva since I've talked. Hope you're doing excellently (haha, that's not a word is it?). Just wanted you to know I LOVE the Day of the Dead song. I listened to it like 30 times. :-) Have a good one - Peace out yo
YAY! Those new ones are wicked. My favorite's still the Flower of Peru - so haunting. I can imagine it playing in the background while the universe was being created... :) "God's" easy listening tunes...
