Saw Orlando signed Anthony Johnson. Ok move. Nat a blockbuster one. Also see Orlando is checking out J-Will and Crittenton form the Griz. I personally think Crit would fit better. He's 6'5", young, and was the 19th pick a couple of years ago. Ironically, I also signed him in NBA 2K8. I'm dissapointed in Dooling though. I read an article where he said getting $2.1 million a year is an insult!! WOW!! Maybe he should get a real job then he will see how asinine that sounds. People scraping by on 30k a year and he's complaining about "only" getting $2.1 million. He obviously doesn't have his mind in the right place. I think it's better he's gone after seeing that.
I really dont think we should sign Mikael. He didnt really impress me all that much with the Warriors. And were losing all this scoring ability with evans and Arroyo and JJ. When we could possibly do some trades to get a consistent scorer or another back up bigman to help out Dwight down low.
Magette is going to sign with Golden State for more money rather than take the mid level with us, San Antonio OR Boston. Clearly he's out for the money and no drive to win any championships. So good ridance
The JJ story is a sad one. A great scorer riding the bench. He may not be the best defender, but remember Dennis Scott? Yet he's one of the biggest marketed players of the team. Maybe he should get some PT for bringing in all that $$$$. Just give him a shot!! It can't hurt. Maybe if he averages like 15 points off the bench like he can, Orlando can squeeze out those close games they loose. Just a thought.
Everyone is throwing their 2 cents so here's mine. Resign Evans, Dooling, Arroyo. If Evans cannot be resigned, go after Maggette. Bring him back home. Let Lewis play 3, Hedo at 4. Hedo can play any spot except center. Work in JJ and Lee as 2nd team SG's. If Petrius is signed, have him at backup SF. Rotate in Cook, Battie Gortat in as PF/C backups. Anyway, I'm not the GM, so it's up to me, it's up to Otis and the rest of the staff. With the up swing Orlando's had the last few years, I think he will make good choices.
