Directed by Earl Weaver Neil Simon, America's premier comic playwright, tells the story of Jake, a novelist who is more successful with fiction than with real life. Facing a crisis in his marriage, he daydreams about the women in his past and present, controlling their actions, their words and even their clothes. Each of the women offers advice, comfort, and frustration which is alternately funny and moving. Ultimately Jake must decide if he will continue to live in the past or if he is ready to deal with reality.
