About Orlando Indie Awareness Initiative

Orlando is full of amazing and talented musicians. The mission here is to inform the public of the indie rock scene in Orlando and get more people involved in supporting it! We are looking for volunteers interested in helping the various bands in the area to hand out flyers at shows and other places, tell their friends about shows and basically get people excited about going to local shows again. If you are interested in helping, please email us.

Bands, please email also if you are interested in being a part of this project. This is going to be a place for bands to submit shows that they want to promote. Send us flyers and posters (and mp3s) and I will post them up here and people and volunteers will be able to print them out on their own as well. If we get volunteers willing to help promote shows and the scene in general, bands might be kind enough to provide some free swag... ;-)

Bands, please mention this site during shows as well, if you can. With your support, we will do our best to keep this page updated with the latest show information spanning any venue in Orlando and printable show/band promo materials.

Post Records	Oct 8 2007 12:01 PM Our intern Jen just gave me a cd full of photos from the second annual I-4 Fest held this July 4th at Austin Coffee & Film. It was a nice reminder of the fun we had all day long despite the constant rain. Everyone braved the weather and it was an amazing day with some pretty neat music. You can see the pics on our photoblog...the Post*Records Phototronic Blogland. This is the first in a series...more posts on the way! Thanks again to all the bands and to our friends at Austin Coffee & Film for making it a great festival.
