Created in 2003 under the name of Mausoleum, in the south-east outer suburbs of Paris at Chelles, by Marc Dacunha (bass guitarist) , Yoann Moreau (drummer), Michel Marietta (singer) and Tâm Vintar (guitarist lead), the band performed only one live under this name before taking the name Orochi Riot Blood, and at last Orochi . The band makes its debut on a bit thrash neo alternative rock influences from Slayer, Helmet, Machine Head to Il Nino and Slipknot fruits of composition work of Marc, Tâm et Michel. Later, Julie Panya singer of Hobolly joins the group . Regularly rehearsing in Tâms attic , the band acquires an important repertoire which allows to make concerts (as far as Holland thanks to Romain Gros, member of Mildred Pierce group and Fractales12). As a result of differences in motivation and tension , Marc et Yoann leave the group. Simon Demichel friend of Julie , multi-instrumentalist by trade, integrates in the band as drummer in the same time that Steeve Chagneau as bass guitarist, recruited via advertisement. Tâm becomes the main compositor and decides with the band to completely change the musical trend. Consequently to musical divergences and ego problems, the band splits . July 2005, Orochi rises from its ashes around Michael Ayache (death singer), Boris Bengochea (drummer), and Tâm one and only member remaining of the origins . Simon rejoins once more the group as bass guitarist . The band starts up again where it had stopped, that is to say to produce a quite dark progressive extreme metal, mixing Death, Black, and oriental music. Maurice Natchoo guitarist leads joins the group. The band decides to split off Michael and Maurice for personals reasons ; Simon and Tâm find themwelves at vocals. In the beginning of 2007, Olivier from the Band Hadeath joins Orochi as Guitarist/keyboard. Simon decides to concentrate to vocals so he left the bass behind. Matteo Casati from The Black/Death metal band Nefaria joins Orochi as Bassist. New Line up for summer 2008: Tâm Vintar still as a Lead Guitar and the new member,Nelly as Bass.

(...)Pour le reste, voilà trois titres réellement bien foutus qui méritent l'essai.. A voir avec un vrai son, et plus de morceaux, histoire de voir si en plus de maîtriser la composition d'un morceau, Orochi maîtrise la construction d'un album... Bonne surprise.
