Orooni’s sound contains a balance of mind, heart, and soul. They draw from multiple influences that range from the Beatles and Kerouac to Mahavishnu Orchestra and Stephen King. This band takes pride in being able to soothe with heart warming songs, then explode with aggressive musicianship. Orooni balances strong songwriting, melodic vocals, and improvisation.
Hey there – FGC is hitting Colorado this week for a run of four great shows! Not one, but TWO, appearances at Denver’s Dancin’ in the Streets Fest August 7-9, including a Friday latenight at Quixote’s, and a Sunday evening performance between Leftover Salmon’s sets. We’ll also make our debut at the Mishawaka Amphitheatre near Fort Collins on Saturday, and return to 320 South in Breckenridge for a show with the Dirty Dozen Brass Band the following Tuesday.
