About me:
Welcome to Jordan and Pax’s untitled documentary project page! Thanks for checking it out. We’d appreciate your prayers as we work to make this documentary dream a reality.
Here’s the scoop on our project:
You all remember the tsunami that struck Southeast Asia 2 years ago. It was one of the biggest natural disasters in modern history. More than 200,000 people were killed by the devastating waves. India lost 12,000 lives that day, and in the ensuing aftermath, over 650,000 people were forced to find a new place to live!
Hundreds of children were orphaned by the tsunami and left homeless, where they were susceptible to child predators who would force them into slavery or prostitution. Thus, the need to protect these orphans was immediate and crucial.
Both of us believe that we have been called to this project and have been working for months to prepare for our first trip to India this June. Pax will be staying in eastern India for the full school year, serving at a new school for these orphans and living with them. Jordan will stay 3 weeks to begin the filming process.
Our film’s aim is to tell the stories of these children so that lives will be blessed and changed for the better (among us and the kids themselves). We will find orphans sent into child labor or the sex trade and expose the cruel reality of a country torn by tradition and rampant poverty that has not been able to safeguard these young lives.
We will also bring to light the hope some of these orphans have found. We expect to discover the inspiring stories of several of these orphans, whose lives have gone from disaster to unprecedented hope in the course of a couple years.
In the summer of 2009 Jordan will make his second trip to India to follow up with some of our featured orphans. We will make several more trips over the next few years so we can continue to document these kids’ unfolding stories.
Thank you for blessing us with your support and prayers. Feel free to email us at orphansofindia@gmail.com or leave a comment if you have any specific questions or comments.

God is at work in India! I praise him everyday for the amazing hearts he has touched throughout that country...especially mine. I miss it so much there and I am in anticipation for my time to come again to be there with the most beautiful children I will ever meet in this lifetime. Bro you are amazing and I am very jealous of the hugs you get daily!

This is a much needed cause. My daughter just finished spending 2 months in Kolkata on missions. It breaks my heart at the suffering of the children. Prayers and blessings!
