Mike Ramos -- Keyboards, Band Founder, Born in New York City, Mike was surrounded by Latin music at an early age and heavily influenced by his father, Nick Ramos. Mike started classical piano training at a young age and eventually moved into Jazz and Salsa. He's been involved with Salsa in the Bay Area for approximately 10 yrs. and has performed with such well known groups as Orquesta Soroa, Cimarron & La Verdad. His musical influences include both Palmieri brothers, Papo Luca, Herbie Hancock, Bill Evans Y "El Maestro" Carlos Frederico.

He Started singing with a trio at the age of 12, and later with a group called Los Aguadillanos in high school. Tony sang in regional radio competitions . He came to California and sang with Miguel Agosto's band Concepto Unidad during the Bugalu club era. From the Bronx New York, music was always a big part of Julio's life. He started playing at age 13 when he heard Willie Colon's amazing trombone sound. That’s when he decided to learn everything about Salsa. Julio played in his first salsa band at age 15, and first recorded with Orquesta La Rosa in 1996. They opened up for many well know artists such as Marc Anthony, Tito Rojas, Tito Nieves, Raulin Rosendo, Conjunto Classico and many others.

Steve has been a positive force in the Bay Area Latin and Jazz musical scene for four decades. At the age of 7, he made his own flute from bamboo and went on to learn the soprano, baritone and alto sax, flute, alto flute, bass flute. He started studying at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music at the age of twelve. Steve is an instructor, composer and producer, and has been a studio musician and recording artist since the '70s. He has performed with Latin artists such as Charanga '76, Orquesta Broadway and Potato. Steve's latest CD "Another Way", available at Apple iTunes Store and elsewhere, features top jazz musicians Jeff Massanari, Thaddeus Pinkston, Marc van Wageningen, Paul van Wageningen, and John Santos. He brings his "Pacheco" style flute and smooth sax playing to round out the Saboricua horn section.--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Born in New York City and raised in Cidra, Puerto Rico. Percussionist, specialized on traps and bongo. Selected for the 1979 PanAmerican Games Big Band. Founding member and several recordings with groundbreaking Gospel Music Nueva Trova band Hosannas de Borinquen. Major musical influences, Chucho Valdez, Paquito D'Rivera, Cal Tjader, and the 70's Salsa music. Avid reader and listener of salsa and latin jazz history and music. Ali Choco Luna has been performing since he was ten years old. At fifteen Ali was playing with local Latin bands like Rice & beans Latin Jazz group and was also a member of Orquesta Pabon a salsa band. Ali is also one of the founding member of Grupo Guanina a folkloric Bomba collective. Ali has studied under Israel Pabon, Jorge Arce, Tito Ayala, Ito Carrillo and Hector Lugo. His Styles range from Latin jazz, hip-hop, salsa and folkloric afro-Boricua Bomba and Plena. Currently Ali plays with such groups as Saboriqua a 11 piece salsa band, mambo tropical, mambo combo latin Jazz group, Son Borikua a traditional Bomba and Plena ensemble. Ali is also in the group Agua Libre which explores a few genres of music such as salsa, reggae, Cumbia, Hip Hop. Also involved in the afro Puerto Rican Bomba group Aguacero where he is one of the main Dancers and Drummer. Ali has had the honors to share the stage with artist such as Edwin Pabon, Chichito Cepeda, Ito Carrillo, John Santos, Giovani Hidalgo.
