Bio
ORSINO NATION are genre-mashing rebels on a sonic journey toward transcendence. Psychedelic synths, piano and guitar-driven soundscapes, vocal harmonies, earthy drums & unique, image-laden lyrics make for experimental and atmospheric music that will lift you beyond everyday existence.
Avant-garde rockers ORSINO NATION's influences are highly eclectic & their music genre-jumps even within a single song; from 4-part harmonies on the piano to thrash guitars, flamenco rhythms to deranged-carnival music, acoustic folk to trip-hop to straight-up rock. The songs give voice to wild creatures who have clawed their way from a belladonna dream.
Dramatic and fey, frontwoman Yasmine Amber is every bit the rockstar with passionate vocals, decadent costumes & inspired outbursts of flamenco dance. Charger is a classically-trained virtuoso pianist with a Viking sensibility. The combination means avant-garde music with a distinctive Orsino Nation style.
Hop on this magic carpet & take the ORSINO NATION trip.

Bio
ORSINO NATION are art music rebels on a sonic journey toward transcendence. If Tori Amos & Dave Gilmore had an ADHD lovechild and you gave that child a distortion pedal it would grow up to be Orsino Nation. Piano and guitar-driven soundscapes, primal vocals, ethereal harmonies, string sections, earthy drums & image-laden lyrics make for atmospheric music that will shift you sideways into another reality. The duo's influences are highly eclectic & their music genre-jumps even within a single track. Dramatic and fey, frontwoman Yasmine Amber is every bit the rockstar with passionate vocals, decadent costumes & inspired outbursts of flamenco dance. Charger is a classically-trained virtuoso pianist with a Viking sensibility. The combination makes for an avant-garde symphony. Lie back and let their songs invade you, like wild creatures clawing their way from belladonna dreams. Debut EP 'Picnic On A Whale available now at http://www.orsinonation.com What they're saying about ORSINO NATION: 'Well you got me hooked and I had to listen to all your stuff. I am a big fan of Sleepy Time Gorilla so I love adventures in musick' - Jack Douglas, producer (John Lennon, Aerosmith, New York Dolls) 'a great deal of talent and a lot of actual art ' 'atmospheric and impressionistic, like vignettes painted on cigar box lids, songs to be listened to and felt' "a quality act...insisting on their creative voice" - The Advertiser all music & lyrics 2008-2010 Orsino Nation CARMEN photos 2009 Paul Hilton Eirawen photos 2009 Adrian van Nunen live shots & Dance with Pan photos 2009 Sammie Lennon Photography live 'Museo del Grito' & 'CARMEN' shots 2007-2010 Matt Walker Photography all art 2007-2010 Yasmine Amber -
