I'm Orson Sven, a singer/songwriter active in The Hague, Holland.
Some may know me as front man of the band Noblesse, an indie-rock power trio that has gained a respectable reputation with live shows in Paradiso, The Music In My Head festival and the Gentse Feesten.
Aside from Noblesse I've been developing my own solo act. Some of the songs are low key acoustic versions of songs from Noblesse's repertoire but mainly it's stuff I've been collecting in the drawer over the years or new material that doesn't work in a band setup.
On occasion I preform this material with the the guys from the band in unplugged gigs but mainly I play it during solo shows.
My songs are rooted in a love for many streams of music, ranging from folk through blues up to alternative rock and punk. These songs are short and compact, dealing with subject matters that tip toe between the autobiographical and the fantastic. Blending my personal, real life experience with gross exaggerations and various alter-egos.
I have a little mobile recording set up and would be glad to cooperate with other singer/songwriters in any kind of way; collaboration, recording, production or accompaniment.
