About me:
I am a gospel( soulful inspirational)singer/songwriter from DC. I lived Beinin City, Nigeria when I was younger. Since I was little(3 yrs old) I grew up singing in church, that's when I knew I wanted to be a singer. In junior high school i was in a group, but that didn't work out. I kept singing and they took a different direction. After graduating from Duke Ellington School of the Arts high school were I studied Classical and Jazz, I moved to Philadelphia to pursue music.
I have performed in different venues in Philly(Warm Daddy's, Susquhenna Festival, J.C.'s cd release party, and the Clef Club). I've also sang at weddings in DC/Maryland. Sang back up for Tangible Truth and now singing back up for Taragirl(a philly artist).
Right now I am working on my demo. I write songs for other artist.I sing different styles of music, Gospel,Jazz, Classical, R&B, and Soul. But what I'm doing with the talent that God has given me(lol)is use these styles and put in the form of gospel. I sing/write encouraging songs and some gospel.
I love to cook on my spare time.
I love to travel, I really don't like to stay in one place.
I am happy with my relationship. He is my everything, my best friend (always understands me) supports me in everything I do(always there when I need him)You know who it is... yep, it's God! LOl!!
As I was saying i'm just here to share my talents and experiences and talk to other artists(musicians,poets,etc) and their experiences.
