About me: I first began my studies at a Montessori School in some of the healing arts such as Tai Chi, Yoga, herbology and nutrition in 1968 at 15. In 1970 I did my first performance with Allen Ginsburg with a Theater Troupe called the Angels of Light where I did improvisational trance dancing and made my own costumes and helped write scripts for 3 years. In 1973 I spent time with the medicine men Lame Deer and got to know Henry Crow Dog at the Sundance that year in South Dakota. In 1974 I moved to Hawaii and I lived for 2 years almost entirely off wild herbs and fruits in a wilderness valley in a cave and house we built of all the trees and plants around and studied wild native herbs.
In 1977 I moved to Maui after sometime on the Mainland studying healing with many teachers and Masters in numerous spiritual teachings and healing arts and by 1979, I received a Massage License and started a practice as a healer. I also received a degree from the Emerson College of Herbology as a Master Herbalist in 1981 and taught herb classes.
I served as Secretary and Vice President of the Maui Massage Therapy Association and Hawaii Holistic Health Association from 1979 - 1982. In 1983 I gave birth to my daughter Malina and in 1987 to my daughter Mika both brilliant and amazing young women now. Over those years in Maui I continued to train with many Shamans, healers, spiritual masters and teachers such as Steven Chang and many others in Chinese Medicine and Holistic Health as well as many forms of body work
In 1985, I began designing peace dolls and became active in the peace movement designing toys to teach all the healing arts and things that we can do to heal our planet.
I also began writing many books for children and adults, primarily on the healing arts as well as a Sci Fi action, comedy adventure movie on healing the planet. I worked with many musicians, artist, producers and people in numerous media arts on these projects. In 1991 I worked with a partner, my friend Zen and we founded Mystic Journeys. This was a travel Company in Maui, also networking shamans and healers, artist, musicians, activities, and healing retreat centers to create exciting, educational and health filled adventures on vacations.
I lived on the Islands for nearly 20 years and in 1995 I moved to Tucson. I continued my private practice wrote many books, designed the Holistic Healing Charts and other books and include many poems in my stories. I live with my Soul Mate Michael here in Tucson and he works as a sound mixer for television and movies.
Besides being the founder and creative force behind ABC peace I am helping people and pets interested in increasing their health through a complete line of Herbal Products from Amazon Herbs . Palden Dorje Plans to Give Blessings to Pilgrims
and to Protest Animal Sacrifice at Ancient Festival From November 18th to the 23rd, 2009 Palden Dorje a.k.a. Ram Bahadur Bomjan will be giving blessings in Gadhi Mai. He plans this appearance in order to protest the sacrificing of tens of thousands of animals before they take place on the 24th at the Gadhi Mai Festival near Nijgad in Bara District. This Ancient Nepali Festival has taken place once every five years over several millennia.
Palden Dorje, now 19 years old, became world famous when he began a six year meditation at fifteen to promote world peace in May of 2005. He meditated for at least ten months in front of crowds apparently without sustenance in Bara Districts Ratanpuri before disappearing to continue his meditation in private.
Last year, he gave blessings in November. Approximately 400,000 pilgrims queued in the jungle to receive his blessings over a 12 day period. He made two speeches in which he urged people to recognize the compassion in their hearts, and their connection to one another through the all-encompassing soul.
