Osayimwese Nadir Karume
Osayimwese Nadir Karume (aka James E. Johnson Jr.) is a prominent artist on the Philadelphia Poetry scene. He is the CEO of Poeticventures.com and member of the NBAT (National Black Arts Theater). Osay is a Poet/songwriter who recent works included Revolutionary Thoughts ( PoeticVentures Records) and The Reflections of a Black mans Mind (Poetic Ventures Publishing). He is the recipient of the California Golden Poet Award, United States Journalist Award, University Of Pennsylvania Community service Award amongst others. His New venture is the release of his sophmore Album Speak EZ N2 the Blu which is a account of emotional, Social, and Political views that interest us all. He has performed all over the country and has been a featured artist on many local radio stations. His passion for his people, community, and family is the inner fire that compels him to write and perfom.
