Misguided as a youth, Oscar Molina was in and out of detention centers in his early teens, being born and raised in Echo Park, one of Los Angeles most urban, and cultural boroughs. He found a positive outlet of expression threw electronic music. With his new found passion, he then began working with one of LA's top promoters, Holly Luis (LA tonight, Spundae, Giant). While doing so, found his niche as a DJ and solidified his intention to become a permanent part of the scene. In 2005 Oscar decided to pursue his music career by moving to Las Vegas in search of opportunity, making connections with some of the city’s hottest up and coming DJ’s . Oscar was then introduced to one of the lead driving forces of the electronic music scene and events in Las Vegas,( Digital Music inc. ).From this point on Oscar landed residencies and played at some of LV's most posh and elite nightclubs such as (Seamless After Hours, EMPIRE BALLROOM, Revolution Lounge(Mirage), Moon( Palms),TAO(Venetian) and Puff , playing with some of the most well known and pioneering artists such as; Lee Burridge, Dubfire, Nick Warren, Nic Fanciulli, James Zabiela, Steve Lawler, Saeed Younan, Paolo Mojo, Luke Fair, Starkillers, Federico Franchi, Kaskade, Ivano Ballini , Made In Brazil ect. Oscar’s style is very underground, versatile and experimental. He reigns as one of the cities most influential artist's paving the road for minimal tech-house, infused with dark beats, sexy synths and a progressive edge.Oscar is one of the best up and coming artists and always satisfies the crowd with his eclectic style and phenomenal mixing technique. Since then, Oscar Molina has been fortunate to play in other places including New York, Los Angeles, Arizona, and Mexico. He is now working closely with promotors in Los Angeles, throwing underground music events for the strict benefit of the cultural growth. He is currently working in the studio along side Alex Terranova aka SMASHBOX producing tracks such as Crazy Carnival EP released on Beatport.com. and Protonradio.com .
