   About Sean Oshea (Drums)
Hey all. Yes i'm a drummer. i specialize in vintage tones and feels and applying them to today's scene.
Some of the artists I've worked with either live or studio include:
Alicia Keys (i played on"teenage love affair" and "wreckless love" from her new record), Jennifer Hudson (i'm on the track "all dressed in love" from the Sex and the City Soundtrack), Estelle (i'm on the track "pretty please love me" (feat cee-lo), Plantlife (i'm on six tracks on the new time traveller record),Ghostface (i'm on the track "rec room therapy" from his new def jam release , Raheem Devaughn's track "mo better" from his new jive records release, Orgone, Redman, Too $hort, EPMD, Brand Nubian, Pharoahe Monch, Kate Havnevik, Big Daddy Kane, Eddie Bo, Plantlife, Little Brother, Breakestra, The Pharcyde, Slick Rick, Lina, Tone Loc, Connie Price & the Keystones, Percy P, Aloe Blacc, Z-Trip, Mickey Champion, The Greasybeats. I've also played on re-mixes for Natsha Beddingfield and Prince.

in october Orgone's full length "The Killion Floor" was released to some pretty amazing reviews and we've been doing dates in japan and the states to support it..we should be hitting europe by summer. in march the super slamming new Connie Price and the Keystones "tell me something"(which i played on 4 tracks) finally dropped. in the last few months i was on the road with Brand Nubian, Slick Rick,EPMD and the amazing Pharoahe Monch. i was featured in the may '08 issue of Modern drummer and also recently signed endorsement deals with Bosphorus cymbals, Vater drumsticks and Aquarian drumheads.

Some other highlights: Jools Holland TV show w/Plantlife, ,Orgone signing to Ubiquity, BBC Radio Maide Vale Session w/Plantlife for Gilles Peterson's wordwide program and subsequent BBC live in session cd, Plantlife video for latest single featuring Cee-Lo, Morning Becomes Eclectic radio show w/Kate Havnevik, Orgone's "Funky Nassau" and "Hambone" recieving world wide radio play, Plantlife winning Gilles Peterson's worldwide record of the year award, backing the legendary Eddie Bo for two concerts for hurricane Katrina, playing Funky Drummer w/Breakestra for 20,000 mad aussies while on The Good Vibrations tour and hanging with The Godfather Of Soul backstage wasn't too bad either. Playing the Montreux Jazz Festival, the Lovebox Fest, Roskilde Festival, Transmusicale Fest in France, 3 world tours, 2 US tours, and countless UK visits. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..

THE CLIP ABOVE IS PLANTLIFE ON JOOLS HOLLAND BBC TV SHOW

AT THE END OF THIS CLIP IS A RATHER JUICY RENDITION OF "FUNKY DRUMMER", ALBEIT A SHORT ONE (HOW SCANDALOUS THAT SOMEONE COULD STOP FILMING IN THE MIDDLE OF MY MOMENT! HA HA)

Yo OShea! Can't wait for my adventure in L.A. If your in town we should defo meet up, and I so have to meet your children. If you won't be around I want your tourist guide to L.A. consisting mostly of great dance spots and watering holes.
Don't worry about my delicate Irsh skin, I'll be lathered in factor 50! Pale and interesting is all the rage!
