Hey all. Yes i'm a drummer. i specialize in vintage tones and feels and applying them to today's scene.
Some of the artists I've worked with either live or studio include: Alicia Keys (i played on"teenage love affair" and "wreckless love" from her new record), Jennifer Hudson (i'm on the track "all dressed in love" from the Sex and the City Soundtrack), Estelle (i'm on the track "pretty please love me" (feat cee-lo), Plantlife (i'm on six tracks on the new time traveller record),Ghostface (i'm on the track "rec room therapy" from his new def jam release , Raheem Devaughn's track "mo better" from his new jive records release, Orgone, Redman, Too $hort, EPMD, Brand Nubian, Pharoahe Monch, Kate Havnevik, Big Daddy Kane, Eddie Bo, Plantlife, Little Brother, Breakestra, The Pharcyde, Slick Rick, Lina, Tone Loc, Connie Price & the Keystones, Percy P, Aloe Blacc, Z-Trip, Mickey Champion, The Greasybeats. I've also played on re-mixes for Natsha Beddingfield and Prince.
in october Orgone's full length "The Killion Floor" was released to some pretty amazing reviews and we've been doing dates in japan and the states to support it..we should be hitting europe by summer. in march the super slamming new Connie Price and the Keystones "tell me something"(which i played on 4 tracks) finally dropped. in the last few months i was on the road with Brand Nubian, Slick Rick,EPMD and the amazing Pharoahe Monch. i was featured in the may '08 issue of Modern drummer and also recently signed endorsement deals with Bosphorus cymbals, Vater drumsticks and Aquarian drumheads.
