About me:
although i'm being educated to become an educator i know deep down the only conversations i need or want to have are about the diaspora, the personal diaspora, the sexual diaspora, the cultural diasopora...i came to this country exactly twenty years ago without any language to utter to my "new land" and have thus cultivated the trait of silently observing...i'm no longer interested in this silence, the first act of breaking my decades long silence is to claim all! i'm abrasive, i'm soft, i'm an only child, experienced and naive in the same breath, loving and distant from moment to moment......i'm claiming my desire to only share my body, sex and art with women, women of color, women who suffer from any real or imagined diaspora!...finally i'm claiming my lifelines photography and the written word.
