Oshinoko Bunker Orchestra formed in Florence in 2003.
A New project made up of two thirds of De Glaen, an unorthodox rock band active since the mid ‘90s. Two CDs published, the first one self-produced, distributed by Flying Rec. (De Glaen 1996), the second one produced by Cockney/Sony (De Glaen 1998); more than 200 concerts all over Italy and beyond, several tv and radio appearances, three videos and various remixes (Marco L. Lega and Paolo Favati) and a tour with the Bolognese writer Enrico Brizzi with the Sub-booteo experience- project (summer of 1997); all this represents the history of the group up to the Summer of 2000.
After three years of silence this brand new project starts.
Evermore unorthodox.
Still about rock.
Still talking about visceral tensions.
Recording debut in 2005 with Anti Dot, an independent label based in Florence that has already published the intriguing debut works of Bobby Tumultous and Zenerswoon (co-produced with Stoutmusic).
A lot of gigs all over the country sharing the stage with bands like Pere Ubu, Mike Watt, Les singe blanc and many others.
“So What?!” was rewarded between top ten’s videos of the year at Independent Labels Meeting 2006. New record out in June 2008 enginered by Giulio Favero ( One Dimensional Man, Il teatro degli orrori, Zu and best producer of the year at Independent Labels Meeting 2007 ).
New video “Family day” out in May 2008.
Touring all Italy in 2009 supporting bands like Zu, ODM,Zeus! And many others.
Invited at LSB Birthday Party, 3 days of noise and experimental music in Metz France in August 2010 with Don Vito, Marvin, PHC and many more.
Recording their new album in the early 2011.
Energetic, minimal, nervous rock, at times psychotic, while searching obsessively for repeating sounds and noises
An almost total lack of melodies or anything that resembles them…
Intense and never banal sounds…
