I am a child of God, retired public servant [yes, I was a police officer/detective and a paramedic years ago--I've seen it all...from the beautiful gift of LIFE--delivering a baby, to every type of DEATH there is!), best friend, praying mother of three (3), NEW grandmother (Amir Derrick Gray), daughter, granddaughter, neice, auntie, mentor, animal lover (I have "wild kingdom" in my backyard/pond-geese, ducks, crane, frogs, turtles, fish, bunnies, snakes, two owls, squirrels, chipmunks, geicos and a few deer-haven't seen them in awhile though); avid roller skater, gym rat and most of all, devoted and loving WIFE to my husband.
I co-own a "Floor Installation Company", in the Metro Atlanta area with my "Gift From God", Derrick. I have to say that the BEST part of our business, is the VARIETY of people that cross our path(s). We've had the opportunity to meet everyone from "A-Z"...from everyday people buying their first home or remodeling their present home to Atlanta Attorneys, Doctors and Investors. We have 6-12 crews (depending on the season) for various types on floor installations, wall/counter/floor tile work, kitchen backsplashes, tub and/or shower surround(s), mudbeds, shower pans and fireplace facing. O & S specializes in hardwood, engineered wood, laminate, bamboo, cork, sand & finish, screening, ceramic tile, slate, marble, travertine, porcelain stone (floor and wall installation) and carpet.
We actually met online; since our first date, we have been together. We put "God First" in everything, that we do; he's blessed us to basically set our own hours. We are the proud parents of three YOUNG MEN- Clay III (23), Derrick, Jr (20) and Darrin (18); wow, they grow up fast! ** I AM NOW A GRANDMOTHER - AMIR DERRICK GRAY, BORN 06-27-08 ** We also have TWO BIG BABIES; our dogs, Taurus who is seven (7) and Lexie (his daughter), she's six (6).
