The Line-up :
OSIRION is an old school Black metal band from Savoie (France), born in November 2001 by the will of Turannos (6 strings) to spread the True Black Metal spirit, in opposition to the present and commercial B.M.. Before having set up Osirion, Turannos has created or integrated several extreme metal bands (Among whom Animus Herilis). He was first helped by Nieluge (Voices & 6 strings) ; then, various dark souls joined OSIRION and allowed the band to play live.
The Music :
OSIRION plays a raw B.M. : screaming voices, lyrics claiming the "Sex-War-Satan" credo, guitars riffs are sometimes speed, sometimes heavy in order to sheer rage and hate. And the drummer really kicks ass !
► The debut album "Har Sabbat" has been released in 2005 at DUKE's. It contains 10 tracks of old school & hateful BM.
►The second demo was recorded digitally; baptised "Evil Made History", it was released in February 2003 at D.U.K.E’s.
► The first demo, named "An Opus For Lucifer", was an analogic recording with a rhythms box and was out in 2002 : it has been since remastered and reedited, limited to 66 copies.
► Some splits were brung out in the UG too : split CD-R (with Zarach’Baal’Taragh) in summer 2003 at Symbolic Prod. (F), a split tape OSIRION / VORKUTA (Hungary) was released in 2006 at War prod (P) and a split 7"Ep OSIRION / THE BLACK DEATH (Tasmania) was released in 2006 at Winter Reich prod (Tasmania).
► Since 2001, several titles appeared on UG BM compilations : C.C.D. II zine, Symbolic zine, Cérémonie Païenne, Funeral Blast vol.11, Furor Gallicum, "Tribute to Old School Spirit" part. I and II, "Morbid Tunes of the Black Angels part VII”, Litanies Infernales zine II, Neurasthénie zine VIII .…
The Promotion :
► OSIRION's official website is weekly updated and contains all informations (News, Bio, Mp3, lyrics & tabs…)
► OSIRION's assaults are available on several labels and distro in France and worldwide : D.U.K.E., Osmose Prod., Holy Rec., Adipocere Rec., Aura Mystique, Drakkar, Angel of Death, Forgotten Wisdom, Brutal Druids Prod., The Way Of Force distro...
► Reviews are often very good in the French & worldwide UG press.
► OSIRION gave about twenty interviews in the French and worldwide UG press.
► OSIRION did about twenty gigs, in particular with great internationals (Gorerotted, Decapitated) and French bands (Himinbjorg, Arkhon Infaustus, Scarve, Otargos, Belenos, Benighted). Osirion seeks more dates to spread the black plague on stage.
► OSIRION’s merchandise is available : T-shirts and buttons with the golden logo.
The Projects :
► The second album "Reconquista" is ready, and the band look for a serious deal to check out it in 2007.
