is our inspiration for Honor, Style, Skill and Loyalty. However, the Ronin is our reality. The Samurai turned Ronin by remaining true to himself without the Shogun (Emperor/King). Despite the illusion and decay of standards we have seen with some booking agencies, we
are committed to bringing you true professionalism and
true talent !!!
So our goal is to uphold a high standard in music and business at all times. Not to do what we have to, but to do our very best. No matter how many rotten promoters, foul artists or corrupt labels are in this business, we choose not to sink to those low levels. We know who we are !!!
We book Hip-hop artists. The Hip-hop artists we book will not yell on the mic as the other members of their group try to out yell them. Contrary to popular opinion these days, Hip-hop can be performed with as much strength, grace and style as any other music. This is what our Hip-hop artists strive to present everytime they hit the stage.
We book Jazz artists. The Jazz artists we book are not snobby nor disconnected from society and musical developments. True Jazz has always been music inspired by the heart and soul of creative people. This is what our Jazz artists strive to present with every set.
Our Rock artists do not trash hotel rooms ... Our DJs do not follow a top 40 nor copycat playlist ... Our Turntablists have not forgotten they are DJs.

So, just like old folks, I believe that music should be given respect. We celebrate people who retire with parties, but what do we do for the music that we retire from our Vinyl/CD collections, or top playlists, or whatever your specific preference is?? I decided that I would celebrate tracks that I no longer foresee myself playing at gigs by presenting the “5 ON IT” Mix Series. Each time around, I will select 5 tracks that have put a smile on my face along with many others.

Astrix returns to the UK for his most ambitious tour yet. On Friday 30 January he makes his debut at Birmingham’s Q Club alongside local legend Sabretooth, who’ll be launching his new album, and Dejavoo live. Then on the Saturday he’s following in the footsteps of dance music greats Tiesto, Paul van Dyk and Infected Mushroom, taking on one of the world’s top venues, the o2’s incredible Indigo. As well as playing a live set of upfront tracks from his forthcoming third album ‘Red Means Distortion’ — and of course all the classic tracks that have kept him in the DJ Magazine Top 50 for the third year running — he’ll be launching new digital EP ‘One Step Ahead’, a limited edition multi-media production available on USB stick only. He’ll also be bringing along HOMmega label mates X-noiZe, Krunch and Delirious, who’ll be joined by the Antiworld residents. With X-noiZe and Krunch launching their new albums ‘Wheel of Misfortune’ and ‘Booster’, this promises to be one of THE psy trance events of 2009. [171 words] The credit crunch is hitting everyone hard and we know you want to party more than ever… so we’re keeping advance ticket prices as low as we can. As our New Year’s present to our loyal fans, all advance tickets are being kept to just £20 (London)/£12 (Birmingham) and capacity restricted to 1200 (London)/600 (Birmingham). But be warned — at the time of going to press almost half of the tickets for o2 were sold out already!!!
