ostinato is a three piece music collective formed out of long term friendships with members currently living in dc/nyc/philadelphia. pursued as a passion to create and explore sound, we tried to form our melodic pieces like daydreams or short stories...
we want to thank all our label mates on this last blisstrain tour - the antikaroshi, beehoover, bulbul, we insist, jari, hannah, nico, malte, and most especially andreas who makes it all possible. a family tour with collaborations from all bands we want to thank everyone who came out to the shows and has supported us over the years. the rumors are true and we have indeed decided to pursue other forms of music in different paths and retire ostinato. thanks to diario for playing both our first and last show in europe with us and bulbul - leipzig was something very special to us.
exile on mainstream released a hand screened limited edition of chasing the form (500). the release features new artwork from jeremy and the excellent sound quality of 180gm black vinyl. we couldn't be happier to finally have our music available on our favorite format. thanks for listening.
