Who I'd like to meet: Live bands, DJ's, and dance performers willing to donate their talents to Otakon
www.otakon.com (we are non profit)
I am looking for DJ's and live bands that are UNSIGNED and interested in donating their time and talents to otakon. This is great exposure if you are trying to make a name for yourself. Please send me a private message and I will tell you all about it!
I cant wait for next year!! please let me know if i can help in anyway for next year!! Ill keep and eye out for local DJ's who would want to do it next year and ill send em your way
the raves were awesome. but to be truthful the rave at first friday wasn't all that great AT FIRST. cause the music wasnt all that great to dance to sorry but the other days were kick ass
unfortunately not, however members of orin are still making live music. Myself (Josh Lampman aka DJ Masamune) and SoulrakK (guitarist, aka Carlos) are both in a new group, book of void, www. myspace. com/bookofvoid, which does music in a similar vein as orin. I also am involved in another project, myspace. com/faithintheglitch which is an a/v vj/dj live performance piece. Both projects would be available to play otakon in a heartbeat.

Yeah, I was getting a bunch of messages from people letting me know about what you said. Maybe we'll just bring our PA and play in the artists ally or some place in the BCC bootleg style ^_^
whats this I hear about no bands? I don't get it. Is it because the bands are local, or is it because they don't want any bands? Let me know, I'd like to know whats up - I guess I should stop looking to book an artists ally table then?
Just wanted to drop by and say a friendly hello, and see how things are going for you. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods. We've had some exciting big breaks and are way ahead of schedule. Looks like we’ll be opening the show a little earlier. Take care. Thomas at >www.nonprofitcircus.com
